Honestly I felt somewhat bad! He was a good sport and when I came back for my second one he said he remembered the tattoo and the hair....

Never heard of them? Avenged Sevenfold is a metal band from California. They’ve been around for probably 20 years.

Volbeat is a band from Denmark. They’ve recently became popular in the mainstream but they’ve been around for years.

Got 2...right arm and back. 100 hrs. on back, so far. Plan on finishing a full sleeve on my right arm this year. Yes, my back was a complete cover up.

Thanks! Took a total of 15 sessions, between 6-8 hrs. per session, had to wait 21 days between sessions for healing time, all of which took just over a year. I have maybe one more 8 hr. day left.....gotta brighten up the dragon a bit more.

I'm getting a thigh tattoo next in May! Unfortunately not from Horitomo because I was informed he's no longer taking new clients for the type of tattoo I'd want and it will be up to him to decide whenever he feels like doing so again. I've been on his waiting list for a little over two years now but they did mention no promises, so alas :(


I did however find another artist I really liked to do my thigh tattoo! It will be of a Vietnamese blue beauty ratsnake on my thigh and wrapped around with blue flowers! So I'm totally pumped for it!

This is my only tattoo (and very baby Noodle). Underneath it, it says Journey, which is my nickname the past 20 years. It was my freedom tattoo to represent a new start in life about 3 years ago. I have wanted a tattoo for years and glad I finally got it. I won't get another one because it hurt like heck and I nearly passed out (and I've had 3 kids!).

Wonderful tattoos everyone! I'm loving the pictures and seeing everyone's ink! I'm also happy to share that I'll be getting my snake thigh tattoo next weekend! Pictures will for sure be shared! It will be a two-session fully colored tattoo so I may start a new thread just for its progression!
