PS: Not worried about the open ends on the center-support piece, Fezzik might poke his snoot in, but that's all that's going to fit. [emoji4] If we ever put a smaller snake in the enclosure, we'll add short capped sections of pipe or . . . hmm . . . must investigate my work room, I may have some appropriate-sized corks . . .

About 57 days left until my 3 T25s and stand ship. Assuming they ship on the day Ali said lol. I'm excited and dreading it all at the same time. They come by freight so i will have to unload it all myself off the back of the truck and then check it for damage unless the driver is cool and helps. Or I could end up with a driver that is a pain and in a hurry. Guess with freight, unless you catch the damage right then and there and note it, the company won't pay claims later if you find damage.

Be sure that the delivery truck has a lift gate. I can't remember if I set that up with Ali first or when the freight company called me. That way the truck driver can roll it right up your driveway or sidewalk to your door with his pallet jack.

Good call. I kind of expected the truck would have a liftgate but I'll definitely make sure when the freight company calls me. I talked to Ali about this whole shipping with freight deal for a good while. She gave me some good tips she got from other customers.

How many cages is that on that pallet? I'll be getting a delivery of 3 cages so i wonder how tall the stack is going to be on the pallet.

Not all trucks have a lift gate since most of their customers have a loading dock. That's why it is important for us residential customers to make special arrangements beforehand.

That pallet of mine has two cages, an AP-25 and a T-25.

Cool. Yeah the freight company is just a few miles from me. Ali told me they will call me when the cages arrive to their warehouse and set up a day and time. I'll make sure they use a truck with a liftgate. So 3 cages shouldnt be much taller than your pallet. That will be nice. Hopefully i can just have the truck driver pallet jack it right into my garage. Heck if the truck is small enough, he can just back up into my driveway and drop it down right in front of my garage door.

Tuesday will be 12 weeks since I made my order for a T3 from AP. They gave me a 10-12 week lead time. I think I'm gonna be contacting them on Tuesday for an update since I occasionally see stories about them forgetting people with small orders.

I doubt they would 'forget' your order. It took 13 weeks for my 3 T10s to ship when i ordered those and took like 4-5 weeks for my 3 T8s to ship.

It turns out they had a 2-day power outage and were back ordered on sliding door tracks, so they're a little behind.

I'm reaching out to them today to see about having an economy rack built but adjusted to hold vision tubs for the hognoses. I'm trying to plan for the future as well so I can move the females to bigger tubs and keep everyone in one rack. I was still thinking about reaching out to the Reptile Factory who is local to me here in Ohio because he does good work but it seems like AP is going to get my business.

The girlfriend is going to kill me when she sees the price tag on the incubator from C-Serpents even though she's been helping me get Reptile Asylum off the ground. Everyone come to my memorial and say random things about me. I want to see all the confused faces from the afterlife.

Im still waiting on my quick ship t8, its been 6 weeks at the end of this week..So much for QUICK shipping.I thought quick ships were supposed to be premade.Im kind of desperate, I expected to have it up and running by now. I really need room in my rack for baby corns.

No, the quick ship are not pre-made. I think they run them whenever there's time/space on the machine. And if you look up,a couple messages, SnakesNFerts said they got delayed with back ordered tracks.

My new cage is coming soon. I'm actually behind in getting my RHP and other accessories. I just had a beautiful stand with casters built so I can stack all 3 of my 4 foot cages and have the ability to roll them.

I'm expecting the new 6 footer to take a while to set up when it gets here. Background will be included and some real and man made perches installed.

It's supposed to be the last cage. Unfortunately I have a friend with 2 Rentfro, Pokigron Suris that just bred.

I may not be able to resist that pairing and another buddy starting back into SD retics with some high end morphs.

I may need an intervention LOL.

Haha yeah it never ends. I just found out Gila and beaded lizards are legal in Washington State so that is my new mission. Talked to a guy in my area who knows a couple people that have gilas laying eggs this month and they will be ready to go around November if all goes good. I've wanted one since i was a kid so I'll for sure be pulling the trigger on one of those in the next few months.

I understand your frustration (just ordered that T10 and it's al leat 3 months out - better order my others now) but they really are great enclosures for the money. It's just a matter of loosely (very loosely) scheduling your enclosures and new arrivals lol Not a bad product for a small family operation.

LMAO - an intervention - is there ever a "last anything" with our collections lol - Did you build the stand? Would like to see pictures as I built one out of 1" black pipe and it's great but once I add more enclosures, it's going to need some serious modifications LOL

    Boaphile Cage Arrived (322D)
No complaints here... the Boaphile answered the phone when I called back in May and answered questions. The 4-5 week lead time turned out to be 8+ weeks or 60-days exactly but it was worth the wait (I did call after week 6 to see how things were progressing). The packaging was great.

Price was fair, fully assembled with black hardware, 50 watt RHP, X1.5 UCH, light and keyed lock center...

Well yesterday, i called Ali at AP and asked her if i was going to have to wait until end of the month for my cages and she told me they already shipped last wednesday. Then she asked if i didnt get any shipping info. Well it turns out the shipping company dropped the ball on sending me info. So after Ali gave me the tracking info and checking on her end, it turns out the cages arrived in Everett today at 1pm. So i called the shipping company and set up delivery for tomorrow morning. Poked some fun at Ali saying wow after 3 orders, I finally get one that is shipped out on time lol.

So expect to see some sweet pics of my new AP T25 stack tomorrow :)

What the heck?! I ordered my cage two weeks before yours and mine still won't ship for another week? That irks me a bit... good thing their cages are worth it.

Well, you did have yours customized didnt you? You had them raise the litter dam on one side or something? I had mine just made standard with shelf, lock, LEDs and flexwatt. So i imagine thats probably why yours is taking longer.

Yeah I'm pretty certain that's why mine wasn't priority, especially with people like you throwing them a lot more $ than me haha ;) and I super appreciate them doing that for me but being told 10-12 weeks and then 17 weeks later... I feel like it would have been longer had I not called and said I needed it before I moved. If it was some huge company taking 140% of the quoted delivery time I might raise a stink but I like giving them my business because I know it's a small, incredibly busy, incredibly friendly family owned establishment that makes a great product.

Freakin google chrome and not saving my comments >:( Anyways to retype all I said....

I don't think its the amount of money I threw. I think its that mine were standard so they can tool up the machine and just run off X amount of T25s and pack and ship them while yours they would have to retool or maybe even hand do some of it.

As for 10-12 weeks, not sure what to say there. I would have imagined Ali would have said it is going to take longer as yours is a custom job.

And yeah, I couldn't imagine yelling at Ali. She is so nice and awesome customer service. She told me if the delivery driver gives me grief about having to wait for me check the glass and stuff before I sign on it, to just call her and she will yell at the driver while I check the glass lol. I did poke fun though and say I guess 1in 3 shipping on time isn't too bad as my T10s were a week late. My T8s took about 5 weeks to ship and the T25s actually went out exactly at 3 months.

Anyways I want to see pics of the custom litter dam job you did when you get it set up.

lol I was just joking about you buying a wall of cages from them hahha! I'm pretty sure some of it did have to be done by hand so I expected to wait a bit longer.

Haha yeah. Or just do what I'm going to do if they guy gives me grief. I'll say if you are in that much of a hurry, I'll sign it but I'm putting damaged on the invoice and if there is no damage, you wont hear from me but if there is damage, you will be hearing from AP as they will be hearing from me.

You can also put 'subject to inspection' which leaves the door open in case damage is found after fully unpacking. (I work at a warehouse distribution center, we do this all the time to cover our *** since drivers are almost always in a hurry)

Hey,, it's built. My buddy did it for me. Has casters insulation the whole bit. He used Rhino Liner to paint it a matching, durable black.

Don't have it yet but if I can I'll get a picture up.

Yeah the driver was really cool. He didnt mind hanging out while i checked the glass. I offered him a Coke and he was content lol. Everything was ok and now I got one cage done and 2 more to finish but taking a break. 6x3 cages are kind of a pain lol.

Caesar should be happy now. He's been 'needy' these past few days and at night demands the a door be left open so he can hang his head out and relax. If I close the door, he starts pushing. Then when opened he will sit up front for a bit then go curl up in the back lol. I walk over and sit there and pet him for a bit and he just hangs out lol.

Ordered a 6 shelf economy rack that was customized to hold vision tubs. It's going to hold all of the hognoses, the sand boas and leave room for additions. I'm looking at about 12 weeks which isn't too bad. I'm sure I'll be antsy when it gets closer to the 12 week mark.

So my T25 was supposed to ship next Monday... Ali gives me a call today to say that they don't have my pro heat panel that was supposed to be sent to them, that it may have gotten lost on the way from pro products to AP? Waiting to hear back from bob to see what the deal is. She said if they have another ph-125 for another cage order they'll use it and ship next week. Otherwise I'll have to wait for another panel to be shipped to AP, cage won't go out until at least the next week after... going to be about 18-19 weeks from the day I ordered til I receive my cage. Ughhhh.....

Literally just got off the phone with Ali and then Bob!

I will now be waiting for (4) T10s with sliding glass doors, door locks, basking shelves, white LEDs, and RHPs. Very exciting stuff but the wait is going to be excruciating!

Out of curiosity, has anybody installed a realistic rock background in an AP cage?

I was leaning toward AP but could pass up the great deal I got from the tried, trusted and true, Pro-Line cages from Constrictors NW.

I'm not interested in this VS that or who likes what more. I just want to know if there are any keepers that have mounted a durable rubber rock background in an AP cage.

If you have toss up a photo.

I'm still waiting on my 72" x 30" x 24" Pro-Line to get here. I'm not in a rush as my animals all have adequate housing but I expect within the next 3-4 weeks I'll be gearing up the interior for perches and other decor.

I havent personally but i imagine it wouldnt be too hard. AP cage sides screw to the back so if you laid the background on the back piece and cut it flush with the back, shouldnt have a problem siliconing it down. Only problem is AP puts 3 sets of vents in the back and 1 set on each side piece. Also mounting a shelf would be harder. You would have to cut out slots in the background for the shelf supports as well as for the vents.

I will now be waiting for (4) T10s with sliding glass doors, door locks, basking shelves, white LEDs, and RHPs. Very exciting stuff but the wait is going to be excruciating!

I have 3 - T10's with RHP's and the shelf - also had a 10mm channel routed for LED's I got on Amazon, and to be honest, I NEVER turn them on. I also did not have a channel routed in the 4th I ordered. Between the shelf and RHP the light really didn't "light up the enclosure" how I expected. I use a LED headlamp when cleaning as I have a window in the room and the natural light, of course NOT direct sunlight, that hits them seems to be working just fine.

See, I wanted to go with black enclosures with red LEDs. I thought they would be nice for nighttime viewing and if I remember correctly, snakes don't see red. My idea was to just have them on a timer and when I walked in, the enclosures would be lit up red.

My wife insisted on white enclosures with white LEDs. I was just ecstatic she was approving me dropping over $1,700 on enclosures lol. So I figured she could pick them. I picked the size and how I wanted them set up. She can pick the colors lol.

Probably wouldn't be the best idea to put the white LEDs on a timer so that they illuminate all night I would think. I don't want to mess up their internal clock since they're nocturnal. Sucks but it is what it is.

Happy wife - happy life...good for you man LOL

I read all light, other than natural circadian of course, bugs them AFTER I ordered the LED's on Amazon....oh well - spend and learn. I still installed them, wasn't happy, and never turn 'em on. I chalked it up to my inexperience, I wanted different colors, got fancy, and fell flat....lots to learn as I only got into snake ownership in November and now have 4 with a few more on the "to get" list. Sure wish I got into them sooner, and before I got hooked on craft brews and wasted thousands of dollars on beer, some of which I'm still trying to sell. I've financed all the enclosures, RHP's, snakes, and other supplies on the sale of most of my beer cellar, still more to get rid of too.

Don't let my mistake deter you, was just sharing my experience with inexperience LOL I am MORE than satisfied with the AP enclosures, it was MY decision that I'm not pleased with.

T12 just arrived today! So far seems to be in good shape, only a minor scratch on one of the boards from the travel but it'sjust a flesh woundcosmetic only!

    Does a bird cage count?
    Arrives today.
    Wish UPS would hurry up.

I'm adding two budgies to the flock this Sunday. I have a temp. back-cage in case this one arrives looking like a crushed soda can. The reviews weren't encouraging for its safe travel, but I wanted the big size.

I had no idea they could do this but shouldn't be surprised. That's some amazing work!
