Want the RSD Tracker 2 into 1 pipe but don't have the $700 to blow at the moment.

How are you liking those bars? I hate the riser and bars on my Custom, but am having a really hard time deciding what I want to switch to. I think drag bars will put me too far forward with my forward controls, and I don't like apes, I know a little forward lean is good so you aren't acting like a windsock on the freeway...

They are the Burly Scramblers. I love the feel of them. Took a little getting use to after having the baby apes for so long. Im back in full control and running with the rice rockets again.

Awesome, I'll check out the Burly site. After I get her tuned I am going to need some bars that make me feel like I have a little more control.

I had a 2006 Fatboy. I loved it and put about 10,000 miles a year on it. Then I got run off the road by an oncoming dump-truck who was going too fast in a blind curve. In a split second I had to choose between becoming a hood ornament and dying, or becoming a lawn ornament and possibly living. I made the right choice but it was touch and go for a while. I was grievously injured. 14 days in intensive care and months of rehab later, I could begin to live life again. My sons call me "the bionic man" for a reason, though. But the prosthetic is internal. It did leave a really cool scar, though! :-)

Have I ridden since, yes. But for a promise made to my daughter, I'd be riding now on another bike -- a Springer. But, that's another story entirely! lol

Oh, to answer the question you might be wondering, the damned truck driver never stopped.

Cool to see this topic! I've been a Jeep and bike guy for over 3 years now. Currently riding my Kawasaki KX450F. We are also rebuilding a 1997 Wrangler TJ and put some nice Toyo tires and off road wheels on it. I also recently got TRX450 for some ATV fun.
