Re: NARBC Tinley Park 2013 Meetup!
I'm not sure if this violates any of the site rules but the Madison Area Herpetological Society (the group I am with) is doing a free raffle for an Animal Plastics rack. Who can't use a free rack? :P

I wish I could have won it but have no idea how I would have got it home.

Both ATMs were down. I'm so glad the vendors I wanted snakes from, took cards!
I didn't get to meet anyone.

Where are all the photos? I didn't take many, but they are still on my camera.

Here is a couple of quick snapshots of her. I'm going to call the vet tomorrow to have her checked out, just in case.

You can see she kinda goes at a right angle a couple of inches from her head. She can bend it one direction but can't straighten it out and bend it the other direction.

I would definitely contact the breeder. Something like that should have absolutely been pointed out at the show. I'm sorry this happened to you. I am glad you like her anyway, but right is right and I would try to see if the breeder will make it right. Let us know....
Re: NARBC Tinley Park 2013 Meetup!
I have a vet appointment tomorrow to get her checked out. And you are both right. It is something that should have been pointed out before she was sold. My boyfriend, Mike, thinks it may be a muscle cramp. I'm wondering if something got dislocated. I'm going to see what the vet says tomorrow to see if there is anything that can be done. She seems to be getting a little better each day. Seems like she can straighten it out a little bit more. So I am keeping hopeful. It was just strange that I did not notice anything until I got home. I held her for a while before I bought her and brought her out a couple of times before we got home.

Did you transport her home in a bag? If so, is there any chance she might have gotten hung up in the knot or tie of the bag and not been able to move for the duration of the trip home? If that is a possibility, then I could see it being a sort of "cramp" or dislocation. Either way, it certainly is strange. I also would've thought you'd notice well before buying her (and I mean no offense at that - it just seems like such an obvious issue). Do let us know what the vet says and best of luck to you and her!!
