It's not that bad to get pierced down there.

With my VCH, the initial piercing hurt, but after that, there was no pain at all.

Piercings aren't that bad. I think ears, especially cartilage, are the worst. They use hollow needles. Its a clean sweep and it's fast. My cartilage hurt a thousand times worse than my belly button.

I guess Anya didn't notice the 4 gauge Prince Albert on my list. :O

That's funny, because my most painful piercings were my lips- all my others (sans eyebrow) have been cartilage of some sort and didn't really hurt. I've heard Tragus can be VERY painful because it's thick, but I hardly noticed it. Different people definitely feel different things xD
I want a daith at some point, and that probably will hurt, so I can eat my words then :) and my septum. Maybe. I think septums are soooo cute with seamless rings but IDK how it will look with a nostril as well :)
(I also want a bellybutton, but I ride and that could end... badly haha)

I've only been dabbling in piercings, they're so addictive though! Because of my job as a Vet Tech I've had to rethink some of the ones I've been wanting to get (like hip dermals) for fear that a wiggly animal will pull them out or hit them and make them reject.

But so far I've got three lobe piercings. I had a cartilage one but I took it out for a little bit and couldn't get it back in! And I had had it for over a year so it was definitely healed. I was so angry, especially since I had suffered through the pain of piercing it with a safety pin (stupid idea btw) and the few months of agony as it kept getting infected.

And back in March I got my navel done, something I've ALWAYS wanted. Now everyone says their navel didn't hurt at all, but it was by far the most painful piercing I've gotten done. I think it was even more painful than the safety pin piercing.

I reallyreallyreally want double hip dermals done though, I think they're super sexy. I also really wanted to get my nose pierced but my boyfriend has stated that he absolutely HATES facial piercings. He wouldn't stop me from getting one if I wanted to do it, but the thought of him looking at me with it and thinking "ugh I hate that it's so ugly" makes me not want it as much. xD I also really want an industrial. I think the next thing I'll be getting will be a tattoo though. :)

I have both my ears pierced with skull studs, and am saving up to get my tattoo of my mothers maiden name, which my papaw, and my uncle have on my forearm, I want my favorite psalm on the inside of my forearm, I am a major deadhead and am trying to figure out where I want my dancing bearing. At this point, being just 19 years old and a student, I'm still living under my parents roof. So all I've got is double pierced ears and a big shoulder tattoo. I have plans for a wrist tat as well and eventually my whole back covered in different animals--they're my love, I'm in school for exotic vet med. I also want a tragus piercing, my ear cartilage "woven", a nose stud, naval, and my nips pierced. I won't get anything done though until I've found someone to fix the original tattoo, because its seriously messed up. The artist didn't tell me he'd never done color and way overworked the skin...

Some of my first tattoos are kinda messed up/scarred because the artist wasn't as skilled either. I should have looked around more for someone more experienced.

I already posted these in some other thread, but here's some of my in progress biomec sleeve (still need at least five more sessions or so). Also have two tribals - arm and upper back, koi fish on wrist, script down ribs on each side, and two holes per ear for piercings (I'm not huge on piercings: had a lip ring but "grew out of it").

Gorgeous arm work, love the ideas too. I shouldn't have trusted this guy but I did because the work he'd done on my cousin was great, BUT it was all black no color. It's ridiculous, mine has no color anymore, the skin is scarred, and even the outline is missing chunks.

I'm kind of addicted to piercings. Hehe..
Right now I just have an anti-eyebrow, a 2g conch, 16g helix, 16g septum and double lobes. Hope to get my other conch done in a few months, as well as a labret.

My anti-eyebrow is at 2 months in this pic, and my conch is brand new in the pic.

I did all of my piercings myself. When I was a kid, I gave myself multiple ear lobe and cartilage piercings. My mother was horrified when she found out what I had done and hauled me to the pediatrician to have them checked out! They were fine, and I still have almost all of those holes in my head to this day. In my 20's I pierced my own nose and my navel, which are much harder to do than ears. I let the nose one close up and don't even have a scar. The navel piercing ended badly, though, when I continued to wear a ring in it through late pregnancy, and the skin stretched so much that it almost broke through. Now it's just ugly, and I wish I wouldn't have..... I also have some tattoos, and they are on my eyelids! Permanent eyeliner! That means I never have to fuss with putting on eyeliner again, and none of that awful smudging I used to hate! No regrets with that so far......

Oooh yay for this thread! I just got three piercings done, since I just had my eighteenth birthday (went a little crazy, haha!) I got my industrial done, my belly button pierced, and cheek piercings/dahlia bites (whatever you want to call them). I already had a tattoo on my thigh, double piercings on my ears, and a nose piercing. I love body mods... :)

Neither of those two piercings hurt much at all... and believe me when I tell you I was prepared for them to be the worst pain I could ever imagine.

I'd recommend finding an apprenticeship before purchasing a tattoo kit. Those kits always have terrible machines, pigments and needles. The places that sell those are the Petco/Petsmart of the tattoo industry. ;)

I have 14 tattoos and both nips pierced. I am a working professional (upper management corporate job) and the only one you can see when I'm dressed is my wedding ring that is tattooed on my left finger (had it done for our 10th wedding anniversary a few weeks back). Areas covered include both pecs, both upper arms, stomach, left hip, right hip, ankle, lower back, upper back, left ring finger...and one only my wife gets to see. I figure if my car ever explodes I have an identifying mark on every extremity front and back ;)

Mt tattoos are more of a collection of specific times in my life and each one has a story behind it. My nipple piercing...those are just plain fun!

You can't blame him, I think he just said what most of the guys on here were thinking!;) I have two snake tattoos, a rattlesnake on my left calf (greyscale) and an Emerald tree boa on my right upper arm. The tree boa was my first tattoo and is a little faded. I'm going to get it redone and embellished soon. I'll see if I can find pics or take new ones.

A deceased famous person. Yeah. Portraits are signs of respect, I respect what this guy stood for and he is someone I looked up to. Nothin wrong with that!

I can respect that....I've never had the opportunity to ask someone with a portrait tattoo why they had one

4 gauge tunnels. One in each ear. If I saw this thread 10 years ago,I'd at a lot more pics. As for tattoos,I've got about 20 diff pieces. Some music bands,some horror character portraits,flames,skulls,brass knuckles and more...
