Your favorite smell

My boyfriend (he'll be complaining about BO and I can never smell it on him, weirdest thing)
Just before or after rain
Cedar
Cooking red meat (grilling gets my attention quickly)
Salt (I've never lived farther than 1 mile from the coast, usually much less. When we go somewhere where there is no salt in the air it smells really off to me)
Freshly baked bread
Lilacs
Leather
New baby
Jasmine
Campfire

There are other scents too, but that's what I have off the top of my head

Coffee
Pecan Pie
Wood burning

Fire
Rain in the forest
Cigar smoke
Good whisky
My wife
diesel truck exhaust

Bad:
Wifes dog ( I hate how dogs smell in general but this one is the worst)
Snake poop (or any poop)
Public Toilets

For bad smells: the inside of a port o potty. Even if its a clean one. I dont mean the smell of crap i mean the chlorine/plastic-y smell. Or whatever chemical they use in there. Thank god im a guy and equipped to piss in the woods bc i refuse to use a port o potty.

^^^ one of the biggest, if not the biggest, in the country and only about 30 minutes from where i live. we go every year since it's so close. mike said something about portopotties and bonnaroo was the first thing that came to mind. it can be a very stinky place.. but it's magical.

When I was really young (4 or 5), the smell of fast food made me feel sick. Used to throw up too lol. To avoid gagging, I would embrace my mom or grandma because they smelled amazing.

Leather is a weird smell. If i smell it just a little bit i like it but if i smell it for longer than a sniff or two then it annoys me. Im not crazy about new car smell either.

I love the smell of garlic too. Leather, like on a saddle smells good. :)

The "new car smell" is just the smell of all the chemicals and adhesives used in manufacturing, as well as the plastics and vinyls releasing fumes...people just associate is as a "good" smell because it's coming from that shiny new car!

I much prefer the smell of burning rubber... :D

My boyfriend wears that stuff all summer, makes me think of him whenever I catch a whiff.

Had to add though that one of my favorite smells is GoJo hand cleaner. When I was a kid we had a giant container of it in the utility room and at the shop sink. Good memories of my Gramps, and that stuff works like a charm on about anything (that I get into anyway, haha)

Exaust/Gasoline (Pretty weird, possibly dangerous.)

Spray Paint

Burning rubber/burning brake pads

Fast Orange hand cleaner

The smell of electric motors running, that weird metallic smell they give off; my Hot Wheels race tracks gave off that smell as a kid.

And of course horses, other than the pee. Working at a show barn had it's advantages, haha.

How many brain cells do you have left LOL? We use a lot of bleach, windex, and polisher at my work; any of that tickle your fancy?

Lol, tell me about it. I think a lot of it has to do with hanging with my dad and his friends in our garage fixing Harley Davidson's. Fast Orange is the cleaner we all used, and spray paint and gas are obvious. It sucks liking toxic smells! lol.

Forgot to add Cigar/Pipe smoke. My grandfather smokes daily and that smell always makes me think of him.
