Hmm unshaven legs might knock your overall grade down a little bit. If their tatted up like hers you'll get a same grade in awesomeness tho.

Will this do? Itll match the jersey nicely. ;)

EDIT: i DEFINETLY get more awesome points for matching.

Haha I just took a good look at those! A old guy I take care of at my CNA has a pair of those with fur lining he says their the most comfortable slippers he's ever had in 87 years haha
-
1. Theyre not slippers, theyre moccassins.
2. Theyre beyond comfortable. That old dude knows whats up.

Lol old dudes always know what's up and as long as their comfortable your set.
-
Since this doesn't really seem to be about football anymore...
Comfortable footwear is worth its weight in gold! I prefer no shoes or slippers when ever possible, but if I gotta wear something, it dang well better be comfortable!
Mike, I'm giving you back your points, that dillan2020 took. :p

They are only moccasins if your an indian. on a white boy they are ugly slippers lol. i do agree they are comfy though i have a pair myself. i took a pic but photobucket isn't working.
-
And def no mandals and socks or crocs. i would go barefoot everyday if they wouldn't give me a hard time going in the store without em. and back to football suh shoulda been born 20 yrs earlier. years ago he woulda been the star of the league but now with all the rules for player safety he's like under a black cloud and doesn't play to his potential.

O how I agree with you Suh should be a beast but now that their becoming a league focused more on safety every thing he does is criticized and he gets labeled as a dirty player. Back when big boys played football he would have been a defensive star. Has anyone else seen the South Park with Sarcasta Ball? That episode outlines my nightmares of what our grand kids will be watching in sixty years
-
Yeah i'm thinking a few more years and the qb's will have flags on them and you won't be able to touch them at all.
-
Haha they'll add penalties like forcefully touching the Qb or giving the Qb a mean look that made him scared. I'm all for people being safe and all that but gooddell (ahh I spelt that wrong I think) but he's got such a need to always be in the right and impose his rules like a king with an iron fist. If you make multi millions a year to entertain the public entertain stop taking away big hits and the new kick off line i hate it. Hell one of last weeks games had a nice clean shoulder to chest hit and they flagged it and called it head to head.
-
what they need to do instead of calling crappy penalties is spend some of them billions on designing a helmet that can take a hard hit without giving them a concussion in the first place.
-
Yes! Thank you god I've been saying that for ever now, we can make a helmet that a hit wouldn't phase a person, I'm sure whiplash would still cause smaller problems but a good safe helmet would have solved the problems their trying to fix with bad penalties. Rodger gooddell is the one who I feel likes his fingers into everything a little too much

I vote Raiders...early 80s. Suh and Lyle Alzado on the field at the same time? Yikes, thats scary.
The NFL product today is still great, but definitely a watered down version of the game I watched religiously during the 80's and 90's. By the way, anyone remember Jim McMahon, QB from the Bears back in the 80's....he's not doing so well. They all paid a heavy price for playing the game the way they did.

Early 80's like back when the raiders where beasts? I'm not old enough to have even been alive then but if I'm thinking about the right time frame and team then yeah the addition of Suh would have been devastating to the opponents, I do think Suh would have been great back then with out the restrictions and anti big hit rules we have now he would have been unstoppable. Like I said I understand the want for saftey and all that but when it seems like your trying to change the game into a soft lets all hug and everyone wins type of thing it just takes so much from the game. I mean my kid will never get to see the huge hits kick offs used to make, two guys running full speed and meet creating that boom you can just feel thru the tv and in your chair it makes you go Dam did you just see that hit! :( I want a new league head to come in and fix some of gooddells rules. I also wouldn't mind couple more expansion teams no real reason behind that cept if there are places like LA building stadiums with out teams even their yet why force them to take another states team (like they tired to do with the Vikings! Never mind they took the lakers from Minnesota already!!) just give places where they think the market will be a big one an expansion team. Ok rant over lol

Not so sure the 'Queens "beat" the Lions, more like the Lions beat themselves...again!!! Ponder? C'mon, man...! Thank goodness for AP, right? :colbert: Just the "sophomore slump" for Stafford & Co.
-
Haha it seems to me that the Vikings beat the lions not once but twice this year can't say the lions beat themselves both times ;) lol and yes thank goodness for AP he's a beast and ponder is doing alright he has moments when his potential shines thru noones all pro by their second year I have faith he'll prove out good. And if I had to pick ponder or stafford it would be ponder all the way haha but we all have our opinions about who's best that's why I wanted to start this so we can all debate about the teams an just generally bs over football :)
-
Re: Football!
Ponder better than Matt Stafford?! XD Seriously??! Numbers tell no tales!
-
I would pick Suh as a QB before stafford or ponder. When that tank scrambles you aint stoppin it!
-
Re: Football!
Lions have no running game, to speak of. Although, I'll take our QB who averages more yards than our RB, any day! 4-5 and clinging to stay alive! You seen our schedule?? Even Brady would shudder at it!

Now we are. My team sucked for yearsssss though lol.

nfc norths schedule is tough for everyone.you have 4 of the best teams in the nfc all together. i wouldn't be surprised if 3 of the 4 teams from nfc north all make the playoffs.

Ha driving kept me outta this but yeah NFC north is nuts this year never thought it would be this good. And yes sir ill take ponder over stafford ;) but I've been a vikes fan whole life once stafford became a lion he became well a lion and Vikings don't like lions :)
-
Hey lions I'm rooting for you to beat Green Bay today :) help the Vikings out a little bit in the north standings haha
-
I'm torn right now, Weeden I want to see do good but Dallas needs to win.

Ya Dallas is at the point of start winning or start planing for next year. I'd like to see Jerry jones go to just owner position and pick up a GM I think it would help that whole situation but he never will. And browns I don't think I've watched any of their games this year I just know their at the bottom of the division, how is weeden doing? He was drafted this last draft right? I think I remember him as one of the rookie QBs for this year
-
Let's go buffalo!!!!! Been a bills fan all my life and they're actually 2nd in our division this year.

Bills chime in haha I used to think buffalo was in Canada (I'm terrible at geography) but they had a great start last year I remember but aren't they in same division as the pats?

Back in the 80's/90's the Bills would kill the Pats(was a great rivalry, then)...not so much lately:colbert:.
-
Re: Football!
In the words of a TRUE Lions fan, there's always next year. Losing close games equals learning to a young and future elite squad. Bet!
-
Re: Football!
And on that note, FIRE Stephan Logan AND Scott Linehan. Lackluster S.O.B.'s!!!!!

Yeah, I think after a close shave to a team worse than your current state puts you into next year mode.
Weeden has been doing alright stat wise, not as many W as I would like, but he's putting yards up and the trusts his front seven.
