Oh and you have to see this little gem I picked up at an antique shop in the early nineties.. It's from back when cigarette companies would promote their brands on key chains, knives, bottle openers, etc.. This is a knife promoting Kent cigarettes.

Mike, only about 1/4 of what's in that picture was mine before my dad died. Ive loved knives since I was a little kid. I used to play with my dads knives when he'd let me. I started buying my own when I was 17. Getting them as gifts also. There are a couple of mine that are still packed away though. An older spec plus bayonet that was a gift some years ago from a friend is one that I really hope I find soon.
My dad passed away 5 years ago and left me his collection. Most of the older things are his, and like gold to me now sentimentally.

A group that was cut off in my first pic of the knives on the bed. Some of my favorites. Many of which I've had for 10-15 years. Some butterflies, a stag handle switchblade, Kershaw, Cold Steel, Western brand boot knives, a Camillus Cuda that is a first production run. Etc..

I don't carry a purse lol that's why I needed a small one for my pocket. They're good knives. I frequently wish I had a knife on me for cutting various packages or other things.

Re: Show me your knives!
Man there are some SICK knives in here! It makes me want to start collecting again. I've owned probably a good thousand knives in my life, and i'm only 22 nexth month lol. Funny though is that I MIGHT have bought 15 of them, the rest were birthday/ christmas presents or were from friends after they got new ones. Out of all of those only one was worth keeping.
Heres my newest edc, a humvee rescue
http://i972.photobucket.com/albums/a...1/IMAG0516.jpg
http://i972.photobucket.com/albums/a...1/IMAG0519.jpg
Its a fantastic knife! Sturdy, perfect weight, sharp as hell, spring assisted, with a window breaker. And the clip on it is NOT messing around.
My old edc, a S&W H.R.T. Good solid knife but the clip broke a couple months after I got it.
http://i972.photobucket.com/albums/a...1/IMAG0012.jpg
My camping/ survival knife. Bear Grylls Gerber. Without a doubt the best multi use fix blade i've ever seen in my life, the thing is a beast.
http://i972.photobucket.com/albums/a...1/IMAG0015.jpg
http://i972.photobucket.com/albums/a...1/IMAG0013.jpg
This is my home defense/ zombie apocolypse knife, the blade comes out too so you can use it as just knuckles.
http://i972.photobucket.com/albums/a...1/IMAG0017.jpg
And the one survivor from my old collection, its called the little skinner. Good little knife.
http://i972.photobucket.com/albums/a...1/IMAG0011.jpg
All we have for kitchen knives are, well, cutco:puke2: But my friend has a really nice set that im in love with.
I think my next purchase will be a S.O.G Seal Pup Elite, I need a nice strong fixed blade with only one purpose in mind. Anyone have one?
