Would you make one at all the comments aimed towords me now?

Judy has already been contacted by myself, and informed of the situation, and is already aware of my use of language on this site, as well as the members (plural) that pm'd me, and the people hounding me. Ive been defending myself and nothing more, if im banned, its on the premise my language was foul, but i alrady understand those consequences. Now how about that other list.....

If thats trolling, im a troll, but i say im just defending myself.
This community is bad, because more and more people are jumping in, im literally just defending myself.
Good to see not a single person has made any effort to put a stop to that.....shows the character of the site
You made a new post that was about the entire site. Of course more people are going to jump in. It's not defending yourself, it's being a brat. :)

Re: Keeping threads on topic
Has EW been reincarnated?
-
Sure.
One was about off topic threads, an attempt to keep the others on topic and address this issue.
The other was more a warning to new members as to how people treat you here.
Ive actually only had one person offer good, kind advice. Too bad there arent more like that member

actually I am sure there are lots of us that would not mind a exchange of ideas with you face to face. But I must say this was a great way to reignite the thread. unfortunately threats of physical violence is strictly prohibited so I will not stoop to your level . Hope you are having fun today I know I have.

Also doolttle, it was a whole new thread, not just a post. Are you high
-
*sigh* IMO this thread was created for you to troll. You didn't say, "guys, i think we, as a community, should try to stay on topic more. I'm new, but i think it is a bad sign for the community." instead you basicly said, "you guys hurt my feelings, so i'm going to make a thread about it to get attention and see if i get any opportunities to troll along the way." Just my opinion.

You have been insulting, cursing at, and wishing bad things upon people in both of your threads. People like you are what are bad for this site.

How did I miss this thread? That's what I get for going out on a weekend!

You really just made a comment about how threads cant stay on topic. You set it up to end this way by posting just those few words. Not very descriptive or how you really wanted this to go.

Its a thread on how we can keep threads on topic. Was really a scapegoat so people would stop trolling the other thread that a completley different op was being hasseled on. I was only trying to help another member that was being hasseled, but its gotten me a bunch of crap.. that what you get for trying to be a decent human i guess, thanks guys

One sure way to keep threads on topic is to take a little bit of time to proof read your post and make sure it's clear and to the point. That way you don't end up with a bunch of trouble makers stirring things up. A little typo here and there usually won't attract much attention, but posting up a train wreck will bring out the grammar/spelling police. Not picking, just giving some advise. :)

Re: Keeping threads on topic
I see no reason to allow this to go any further. Thread is now closed.

I feel a need to comment on this, since my name was brought into it and some claims/assumptions made about what I supposedly knew and what my motivations might be for banning.
1. Yes, serpent fan sent me a PM that I received this morning when I logged on for just a few minutes. I INFORMED serpent fan that I am currently out of town and mostly off the computer and did NOT know what he was talking about but that I was willing to help if he would send me links to the thread in question and tell me who was harassing him in PMs.
2. I did not know the extent of his infractions and the language he was using. I had no idea it had gotten this bad or his disrespect for the staff and the site had gotten so out of hand.
3. When I finally get a chance to log in again...I find more PMs from him...but no helpful links to anything that might help me figure out what is going on. Just more whining and a message letting me know how much the admins of this site suck.
Well....I'm still not hardly caught up. I'm out trying to find a new house in a new city for my family to live in. Kinda busy. But I'll make it perfectly clear now, that this guys troubles are now over at this site. And NOT because of his language, which he could have recovered from, but because of his obvious animosity and disrespect for both the site itself and the staff that runs it.
No, we don't delete accounts. But in this case, I'm happy to impose a permanent ban for someone who obviously can't resist the urge to stir up trouble so long as he is given the opportunity to do so.
As for threads staying on topic....we've NEVER had any hard and fast rule demanding anything of the sort. Threads often meander, especially once the initial question has been addressed and answered. No single person gets to come onto MY site and try to demand that it be run THEIR way.
So farewell, serpent fan. Thanks for being the speedbump in my very busy weekend.
