Re: What kind of BP owner are you?
Right now Im only a pet owner with a female normal, Im almost positive my next snake will be a boa though, either albino or hypo. If I did eventually get more balls it would only be to breed my own more pricey morphs instead of paying for them. (or using some of the money to buy some) I wouldnt want to do it on a really big scale though. Just as a hobby I guess.

Not sure about boa breeding. Right now I just want a morph as a pet, but then have the option to breed in the future. I kind of wish I would have at least got a het for my normal female but she was pretty cheap and well worth it.

Ill probably end up getting some other types of snakes too, but like I said probably wont breed them.

i just got my first BP and i'm the last person you'd ever expect to own a reptile.. i think a lot of the reason i ever even gave them a shot was because i'm allergic to anything with fur. i was a bit nervous at first but i'm really warming up to him. :)

Just got into snakes a couple of months ago. Spent a lot of time on line reading and expanding my knowledge as quick as I can and as much as I can retain.;)
I love staying up late at night and watching mine all do their own thing when they wake up.
It is so interesting to see how they interact with their surroundings.
NOt really planning on breeding yet BUT setting up to keep my options open;)

RE: What Kind of a BP Owner Are You?
For right now I just have one ball python. I've wanted one for years and years and I finally got one recently. I couldn't be happier! If I have my way, I'll have more in the future. Especially interested in some morphs...

Casual hobbyist. I bought my 10 year old son and daughter a normal female for Christmas. Prior to this I had no interest in snakes. Little did I know that this normal female would steal our hearts. She's perfect. We have since bought a male 2010 pied and in next two weeks will have a female 2011 pied and a 2010 female yellowbelly arrive. The addiction is real!

I'm a serious collector/ pet owner/ serious breeder. I'm up to 55 balls plus babies, and enjoy every minute of it. I still have my first ball that started it all, a quirky normal male named pantera. He'll forever stay In my collection. He's the muse that started the whole obsession. Theyre like my kids. I like having and will always have a small collection that I enjoy working with. I have no intrest in having thousands of them. I enjoy spending time and working with them. I'd never want that to end.
