    I get what the person you replied to was saying. My personal moral code wouldn't require me to give the seller anything. But if I liked the seller it would be a nice gesture out of pure generosity.

    You own the snake (as much as anyone can own a living breathing creature) therefore, what she produces is yours.

    If the person you bought them from was great to deal with and you would like to continue doing business with them, I would certainly tell them. I don't believe there is ANY legal recourse that could be taken against you, unless you signed something while buying the snake that gave them rights to her offspring.

    Congrats on you're clutch, I hope it turns out well for you.
