whoa. i thought at 35+ (hatchlings for sale, etc) i would be in a much higher snake-ownage bracket. only 1.14%?

no wonder people think i'm crazy! i assumed i had a small, modest collection :P

Re: how many snakes do you own?
I started in January with 2 and am now up to 8 in 3 months. I am currently building my female stock only this year. Males will come next year. I am real particular about what I want to do as far as breeding so there will be no Normals or Dinkers.
I figure by the end of 2011 I will have around 20 or so really really nice morph females, and next year I will bring in 4-5 Super High Dollar tripple and quad gene male morphs:gj:

Unfortunately, only one. Well, one and a half, but the ratsnake has been MIA since September, so I don't count him any more....and there's another on the way.

    I have:

    11 Ball Pythons
    7 Corn Snakes
    1 Colombian Red Tail Boa

(I hit the wrong button. I meant to say 16-20, but if you count the snakes I'm watching for someone, then yes, I am in the 21-25 range.)

I currently own three Ball Pythons and am picking up two Milk Snakes this month.
Had a Rosy Boa for a couple days that I rescued but was too sick to risk keeping in the same house as my other snakes, so Jason from SCHA&R is taking care of him until he has fully recovered.
So... definitely five snakes, maybe six if I decide to keep the Rosy Boa. Who knows what more I will have two months from now.

Just two snakes (BP normals). I breed finches from time to time so most of my space and resources go to them. The snakes are just for pets, not breeding.

Re: how many snakes do you own?
I have two ball pythons, I think they're the perfect snake for me and so far I don't feel the need for a different species. However, I do like some geckos, and woma pythons usually have an awesome personality. I only have two snakes right now but the two that I have were pretty expensive, one is a lesser pastel named Lucy and the other is an axanthic named Ghost. I hope to get another ball python, most likely a pinstripe or an enchi. I <3 my ball pythons, and I hope to breed them once they're older.
