This is my little pooperglide (superglide) It no longer has a wimp shield which is a lot more fun, except when you beg smacked in the head by the big bugs.
I learned quickly that it's a bad idea to blow a bubble on a motorcycle.

I love my Harley. I love being on it all by myself. It's the only time I feel like I don't have 10 people all wanting me for something. I mean, it's nice to be wanted and all but it's nice to be alone with nothing but the road stretching out before you.

Beautiful Soft Tail! I love all the flat black! I was looking at the small Harelys they make for girls (girls with no muscles) if that's counts for anything! They were WAY out of my price range though!

I do have to say I do like the look of harleys...but to me...nothing compares to the speed and the sound of pinning out crotch rocket. Oh yea and then there is the throwing it over in a twistie....oye....that is the best. :gj:

My friend just got a Super Glide a few days ago! Hes stoked as hell.

Crotch rockets are o.k., But.... Motorcycles are dangerous enough. You hand alot of people a crotch rocket and they think its time to race through traffic and mountains, etc... Had a friend recently fly off the mountain on Ortega Highway (luckily he hit a tree so he didnt fly down the hill with his bike)! A month or two later his best friend popped his little second gear wheelie off some bump, lost control, smashed into a parked rv. He lost a leg, foot, and an arm, before he died around 45 minutes later.

I say take them to the track so you dont look so funny in your goofy little outfits!:P

Ok, I finally got the pics re-sized. Here are me and my bike, Vypyrz. I named it that because the kickstand, foot pegs, and gas cap are chrome snakes, and the clutch and brake lever covers have faux snake skin in them... :gj:

Looks like it too with an extended rear swing arm. Also looks like it's sitting a little lower than stock but that could be the angle. Nice looking bike.

Oye...that is so awesome....I LOVE watching that stuff. I have dragged my car on the track but alas...I still need my air intake and a short shift. But the bikes are the most fun to watch!! I am trying to talk the hubby into draggin the bike but it takes a bit to get it ready. Awesome stoppie by the way!!

Just sold my '04 Kawasaki ZX6R 636. Miss it already but am about to jump to a literbike.....i want that mid range and extra top end..... Probably honda cuz they are nimble and I love the twisties

now thats what im talking about...i love it all. drag racing the bikes,stunting them and just riding them out in the country and around town. Always an awesome time. Its time to track the gixxer before its sprayed.

I have a k7 blacked out GSXR750 Stretched 10 over and slammed. I hardly ever go to the track but I love the mean ass look. The tank has been painted since the photo was taken.

And glad to see we've got some ladies on two wheels! Isis--you should get your hands on a newer ZX6r...you'd be amazed at how nimble and lightweight they are! I started out on a Ninja 500 and that thing was a beast compared to the ZX6...very well designed. Particularly after I get off the 1000 lb. Harley...the Ninja feels like a toy! :)

that is correct. not sure on the power though as i dont own a new ninja. i personally love the gixxers more than anything.

I have to say...the drag strip is only 10 miles from my house...woooohoooooo!! lol :8:

I drag my 09 civc v-tec...but it is still stock right now...so I don't do that great in a quarter mile. I am waiting for my short shift and my air intake....but they haven't come out with the red one yet. $3000 I can do all that and a new exhaust ...that will add alot more horsepower. The hubby has done the research....as soon as I stop buying snakes...we can go for it. Oh the choices....

for 3gs you can do a turbo, and if you run about 8lbs of boost, your motor will be fine. In a couple of months I should be getting an Integra gsr :)

drag racing has always been a huge part of my life. i had a 400whp srt-4 have tuned so many of those cars i lost count. I also had a 78 malibu with a 355 and two stages of the giggle juice. Im always down to drag race the gixxer since i have yet to build another drag car.

Oh my husband would love to hang with you. He has had so many cars that he has rebuilt. His fav....68-69 camaro. Now his project is the civic..which is my thing....LOVE THOSE CARS. They are so easy to mod. Anytime you want...come on over....we can hang at the drag strip. :D

I just finished changing my handle bars from 24" apes to drag bars. What a pain! Cutting, splicing, soldering and routing 14 wires to the switches. Changing and adjusting the throttle, clutch and brake lines. Now I'm waiting for another new T-Fitting for the brake lines to come in because the first one is leaking and I got it temp fixed with teflon tape, oye :rage: Maybe tomorrow I'll get some new pics of it...

Nice bike. I have to say I prefer apes for comfort reasons on harleys. Set your dead man and kick back. Also glad to see you got rid of the sissy bar...I have seen people go down, try to kick away and have the sissy bar catch them and drag them along.

I personally am a fan of all bikes, but most recently ride crotch rockets. Just sold my GSXR 1000. Looking for both a hayabusa and a buell by the end of the summer if funds permit. Here is the bike I just got rid of

They were ok for bumping around town, but not at 75-80MPH on the Interstate. They would get buffeted by the wind and you could feel it in the steering and sometimes it would cause a noticable shimmy. The first time I felt it I pulled over because I was sure the steering head bearing was coming apart. I just got tired of constantly having to fight it. They made riding more like work than fun and that's when I knew it was time for them to go...:gj:

You know, it never occured to me about getting hung up by the sissy bar if you go down...
