I am going back to Charlotte Wed afternoon. I plan on leaving him in his hide and filling the rest with a blanket or towel with a heat pack on the top of the tub. Drive is is only like 2.5-3 hours max it. I will not be touching him and it should not be noticing any outside movement cuz he will be ONLY in his hide for the trip til I get to the house and get him set back up. I see no stress on him for a regurgitation of his food.
And nope won't handle him for another week just to get 2 good feeding under his belt before that happens.
Any advice for the move with 2 pinkies in his stomach and when can I start handling my little guy again. He liked to be out.....IMO

He will have digested the food enough by then. I wouldn't worry about it.

Put the snake in a pillowcase or snake bag. Just make sure the heat pack doesn't have direct contact with the snake.

Don't be surprised if he doesn't eat on the next scheduled day though. The moving can still be stressful.

I would wait until he eats consistently 3 feedings in a row before you try handling him again. First and fore most you want the snake to eat. Handling is something you enjoy, not the snake. They are not social animals and don't "enjoy" being socialized.

Gotta love Kaorte :) She just tells it like it is, but she KNOWS her stuff. There are so many knowledgeable people here its amazing. I'm glad he's eating again. Everyone's right about the stress issue. When I first brought "Muffin" home, all I wanted to do was play with her, thought she was the cutest thing I'd ever seen...but the vet told me firmly not to over stimulate her or handle her under she had several consistent feedings.

I'm a beginner too, and understand the love that comes with getting your first BP -they are amaing little creatures. Congrats and Good luck!

Thanks, I'll wait til then to take my little guy out. Idk what is about them, but even though they are a challenge I can't help but to love em. Looking into getting a normal on my down. :banana:
