Do you enjoy seeing people's collections?

yeah I like seeing other collections it just irks me that some people can get so many high end morphs when I struggle to get the lower ones:taz:

I also rather raise my from a young age than buy breeder wieghted/ages snakes this way I can learn their personally over time and be better prepared for any issues than getting an adult snake and having to guess/risk self with them ( not that bitting a problem for me ) . I just rather be safe for both our safety.

Well, yes, of course, this is, after all, one of the reasons for being here :)

I love pics of everybody's BPs. When I can't get enough pics on the various forums, I'll go window shopping on the classifieds! :O

I definitely do enjoy seeing other people's animals. Granted some people can be a little obsessive with the camera, but that doesn't mean it's not fun to look at the pictures from time to time.

Now if someone made me look at pictures I might not enjoy it so much, but since I'm not obligated to even view a thread on this forum or any other with pictures I can't really say I'm being forced.

I had a quicky to add to this thread:

If I don't get enough new photos of people's animals to drool over daily, I get irritable.

Seeing people's collections on this site is necessary for my health :P Keep posting pics plz!

This is EXACTLY how I feel. I like looking at snake photos, period, and I like sharing mine with others. It's really a lot of fun.

I enjoy looking at quality photographs whether it be something common or something new and exciting.

Heck yeah! The thing I like best though, is visiting people's collections in their home. I've taken some awesome photos at my friend Rick's (Krumrine Reptiles) and of course, at Adam's. My dream is to go visit NERD, BG,or The Robin's Nest.....(but the latter mostly because of the wonderful gal that lives there) ;)

I'm obssessed with pictures! You get to see new animals and morphs you've never sen before, and some excellent photography!

I was very sad when a fellow researcher at my university was performing a study using images that evoked 'negative' emotional responses, and some of the subject matter was snakes. I look at those types of pictures every day to evoke positive emotional responses!

I absolutely love seeing others collections as well as there set ups. Keeps me motivated to stay on top of my game with breeding the feeder mice\rats as well as breeding the snakes. Its always nice to share info with other keepers as well as be able to see snakes theyve produced or simply added to there collection. My two favorite to see are deff Bhb and Ralph Davis.

I am in the hobby because I think snakes are the most beautiful creatures on earth, so the more snakes of all types I get to see the happier I am!

what i love is when i went to the white plains show spoke to a few breeders that had some amazing snakes. I think one was a killer blast and another was i forget the name but fred kick produced it. They both just took the snakes out and gave them to me to handle and it was awesome being able to handle them and then eventually have them in my collection. Also got my beautiful spider from Fred. Her color is like no other so im excited to hit her with a super pastel next year.

I love to see other peoples collection, kinda makes me jealous sometimes though.... Wow... thats hot... I want one.... is how it usualy goes....

its awesome when they let you handle the animal. I can say ive handled plenty of morphs i would love to own and it just makes me work harder to either create them myself of work my butt off to pay for them.

Think the pictures forum is my favorite!!

I don't have friends who appreciate our morphs, they're like "wow, interesting" but you can tell they don't really give a RA. :(:(. So I love sharing our animals with all of you!! Especially when we add something cool that I'm really exited about.

i like looking at pics on any forum its like window shopping and you sometimes see something you have never seen or something that you already liked just didnt have a name for ...... plus a little jealousy towards other members collections never hurt anyone lol:gj:

i love it weather pics or videos once i get a good camera(my bday) i will show mine off more haha all i got so far is a cell phone lol

Absolutely! I love seeing everyone's snakes whether they're normals or a new and nameless morph. :gj:

I LOVE seeing others collections. If it is one place you should be able to brag about our babies it should be here. From normals to the super duper new morphs, bring them on :D

I believe its a way to show off, and it should be, I am proud of my collection and what I have accomplished over the years with my snakes. I think that they should all be considered showing off, whether you have morphs or normals whether you have one snake or dozens of snakes.
