    OK, this is helping me a lot. Bellow is an image of the pinky's and a rat pup. The store I buy the rats from did not have any fuzzies, so they gave me the smallest pups they had. My snake is 58g as of 2 days ago. Would the pup be too big? Any help would be greatly appreciated!

    Of course the rat pup wont be too big! My 09 hatchlings First meals of their life was rat pups!

    If your snake weighs 58g then you prey should be in the neighborhood of 5-9g, following the 10-15% rule.

    I don't re-freeze. I just toss them. Buzzards need food too...
