    It's definitely something I'm curious about. I've read that the absolute minimum is 4ft, but I've also seen 6ft as something that is more suitable. So I, too, am on the fence. It seems like one of those "either or" type of things.

    I know of several very successful boa breeders that only use 4x2x1 enclosures with no problem. I went with 4x2x2 simply because I don't plan to have tons of boas and I figured they might like the height. Although honestly I very rarely see them climbing.

    I've got a boaphile 421 with the divider where i've got my male and female youngans and its great, really light and well made.
