Got a few dumb ideas but I don't know how easy hard to impliment they would be. :oops:
Can you add a bevelled edge to the top banners and main content page edge?
How would it look if the top banner extended slightly past the edge of the center content page - possibly with a rounded end piece and slight shadow to make it seem more like a floating layer above both the content (with no shadow) and the background?
How tricky would it be to tone down the harshness of the yellow and add a gradient from the inside edge center to closer simulate a sun behind the content page?
Sort of like a near white yellow radiating down to light yellow.
