Some breeders wont do it cause when they ship the people reciving know its coming and typicaly wait around for it.. I've come to the office from lunch and had animals sitting on my desk before.

Well what do you expect? You are supposed to be there to sign for it when it arrives. UPS sometimes doesn't require a signature because the shipper didn't tell them there was a live snake inside. Some UPS locations will not allow live snakes (not sure why some do and some don't). In this case some breeders ship anyway, and don't tell UPS that there is a live animal inside because they wouldn't be allowed to ship it, so the fault is with the breeder for not using the right carrier, and also your own for not having someone there to sign for it when it arrives.

I'm not 100% sure I'm going to be buying this way or at an Expo (the NY Expo is close and is held every couple months), but of course, there's no way to know for certain whether there's a snake there that I'd like...I'm thinking about a pastel at this point (which seems to be readily available just about everywhere).

I love the look of an all-white snake, but I can't justify spending that kind of money at this point...maybe down the road, though! Albinos are ok, but I don't really like the yellow with the white.

I seen an all white BP at an animal swap last weekend priced for $3000. It was an awesome looking snake.

I would definitely pick it up at the fedex/ups store hub or whatever, otherwise it could be on the truck all day and it gets HOT in there
