    Use newspaper until they pee once and I guarantee you that after you see how much urine is either in the bottom or how big the yellow spot on the paper is you will always use newspaper. I did this and now newspaper is the only way I got. When they pee it is a lot. Try it! Its the only way.

    I used shredded paper- news paper & junk mail (junk no staples or sticky stuff) & it works great. Plus it clumps around the wet stuff, makes spot cleaning a snap.

    I do use paper towels for new arrivals in quarantine & for hatchlings until 1st shed.

    I've converted more than a few... if you give it a try, I know you'll like it. Even lets the young BPs tunnel... I've a few who seem to enjoy doing that. :P
