That is so small man. They only get a max of 1.5 five feet so they are excellent for people who want really small snakes. But what I think is cool about these guys is that they don't constrict, they just start swallowing them. Since they are rear-fanged, they do not need to constrict, they just grab onto them, work them to the back of their mouth where their fangs are, inject there venom, and then its time to eat. I might get one, they can be kept their whole lives in 10 gal, which I could do since I am craving a snake but I don't have the space for another ball python.

That's one of the main reasons why I don't want another BP. I have pretty much no where in my home to keep another. I keep my Hog in a 10 gallon, so I'm not going to worry about getting a larger enclosure :]

Thanks he's a totally cool snake, love that little guy. And ya he is fun to keep, and it's fun watching him slither around the enclosure and when I handle him he always is running around my hands. The funny thing is if I put him down like on my stomach when I'm laying down and I have my hand by him he goes straight to my hand and climbs around on my hand.

If you want one that can comfortably stay in a 10 gallon for life, consider getting a male. I have a female western and they are very very active little snakes. She's only a yearling and I feel she is already cramped in her 10gallon (she's ~23" long, 40gm). Some on here will surely disagree, but I feel once established, this is one species that will appreciate more room than we tend to give bp's.

Nice pickup. He is very small, and I wasn't expecting him to be that small either. It's awesome watching them eat because they just start swallowing.
