Re: pet insurance (cheap)
Well so I called and it turns out, its $18.50 for reptiles, no matter where you live or what snake, because that was my quote for my anaconda. They don't cover regular bills, only like in case of emergency, and your deductible is $50, and after that they will pay 90% of the bill. So like a fecal sample or something among that isn't covered, but if your snake had a RI, and you goto the vet say the bill is like $120. Then take your $50 deductible out, then that leaves you with $70, which they will cover 90% of, which leaves you to pay $7. Also if you purchase for the whole year, its $198, which saves you $24. It would be good if you have a mildly expensive snake or so, but to most average keepers, it probably won't be worth it.
Re: pet insurance (cheap)
I would expect that they are willing to pay up to a set amount for a specific service. I would be surprised if they just paid a percentage of whatever the vet charged. I bet that you would be left with much more of a bill than you may think.
