IT's known that certain lines of both albino and axanthic will throw axanthic looking het hatchings, it'll get a bit more yellow back as it grows and sheds but as has already been said it's a keeper, and can sometimes help pick out the hets in poss het litters of certain recessive genes from certain lines. Recently someone on KS posted a litter picture including an axanthic looking pinstripe and that was the albino gene at play.

an interesting quirk, be interesting to know exactly which lines sometimes behave this way.

We're actually hoping a similar trait will prove out with the lemon blush strain of albino, we have a pair of hets here and they, and that entire clutch shows very high amounts of blushing, if have a spare normal female this year I'm going to see if we can pick the het girls out of a clutch fathered by out 100% het male.

Hmm I wonder if she'll hold her color for a couple of weeks/sheds. Maybe she is a Spider axanthic!
