    Yea, it's moreless something new to him, and several other conditions could apply like him enjoying your body heat, or him seeing something else he may of wanted to discover.

    Here is my snake right after feeding him an adult sized mouse about 30 minutes ago. He must really like crawling on the temp gages.

    I would feed him every 5 days. I do until mine are 400-500 grams. Just my preference though.:banana:

    my ball does this everytime i put him back in his cage after letting him roam around/ handle him. he is a normal also so im sure this is behavior thats happens all the time . he doesnt seem stressed because when i slide the screen by his face he doesnt flinch. i think that my little guy is only still hungry for the adventure and wants to keep exploring everything. i find that my ball is VERY curious so that explains it all. just wait for him to realize theres no way out and he/she we'll be fine. haha unless he's too tempting like mine andlet him out again (:

    oh yeah, you might wanna feed him one or two more of those adult mice, balls have a big appetite but if he doesnt strike within the first minute or so then just keep the little mouse for next time
