For some reason I read that as "...for anyone that wants to steal my STEAKS"
    I was like "Totally"

    LOL

    Anyhow, very nice looking dog.

But what I was going to say is I work in a lab with tons of different animals and my BP doesnt seem to notice if I smell like them or not.

Here is our Cletus, the most sensitive (I mean he gets his feelings hurt & sulks) pit that we've owned

Once you snakes identify the dog and their smell as "not food" and "not threat", they won't care. Here is a link to a photo of a pit with a bp collar...

My dog (a 42lb mutt) has never scared or tempted the snakes, and he's VERY protective of them - as he is with all of my other pets. :) Delilah did strike at the cat once, but she was already a little stressed at that moment. So in general, I don't think it's a big deal... heck, the East Bay Vivarium even has 3 "shop dogs" at their facility! http://www.eastbayvivarium.com/aboutus/aboutus.html

LOL... that's adorable! :) I've been wanting to get a picture of my BP & dog, but haven't had the guts to do something like that yet.

Nice dog, but it's not mean. You can pretty much tell by looking at a dog, or rather I can.

A lot of people let their dogs roam around while handling the snakes, and nothing happens. Sure the possibility is always there, but the chance of it happening is rare.
