Well, for 4 of my reptiles I did do some names that I think fit them.
Male BP- Monty (like Monty Python.. I just thought that was a cute name cuz he's a Python.. and I've always liked the name Monty :])
King snake- Steve (like Steve Irwin.. my hero and idol.)
Giant Leo- Sobe (after the drink.. their mascot is a gecko xD)
Red Eared slider- Miss Piggy (I think everyone would know that one lol... well I mainly named ehr that cuz she eats A LOT and won't stop lol.)

I like old fashioned/unpopular names. Example: Murray, Mabel, Benson, Ernie, etc.

All of mine are named after actors for the most part....even Mrs. Garrett from Facts of Life:)

I have one bp. When I got it, I just assumed it was male, so I named it Wes after Wes Anderson, my favorite director. When I had her popped, I just kept the name since I think it fits.

No theme for me. Instead I let my girlfriend name my snakes (although I have to approve the name...). It's one way to slowly get my snake-terrified-girlfriend engaged with Ball Pythons! :)

    And it's working!!! ;)
