    It depends IMO. If its a nice co-dom morph being loaned out to breed a normal, then I would say the person with the more valuable snake should get 1st pick.

    But if its a situation where someone lends their pinstripe to breed to someone else's spider then both are fairly valuable animals, and in that case I would think that the person who actually does the breeding, hatches the clutch, gets the hatchlings started should get 1st pick.

    I did a breeding loan where they sent their male to me and I bred with my female. We were lucky in that it was known what the progeny would be. But I got 1st pick out of them since I did all the work. And we alternated picking.
