There are no set rules; its whatever both parties decide on before entering the loan arrangements. Whatever both parties feel is fair for the given arrangement should be drafted up as a contract before any animals are exchanged.

I just finished a breeding loan with a member on this site and I had a great experience. We agreed in writing to split the clutch 50/50 with him getting first pick.

I think this may not be the way we end up splitting things up but its always good having a baseline in writing to revert to if any disagreements arise to what is fair.

If you're loaning females, without you, those clutches wouldn't have happened. First pick, and 50/50 is more then reasonable in my opinion.

Heres what I would do. If you are not all that interested in the babies atleast it sounds that way. If your friends breeding any kind of co dom or dom morph just get first dibs on them and keep on the the morph babies and have your friend be responsible for getting your girl back to a healthy weight. Thats just me though. Now if you do want some of the clutch for keeping or selling I would go first pick and 50/50
