I take it you mean an English accent, seeing as you say it sounds posh? In Britain you can have either an English, Scottish, Welsh or Northern Irish accent. Of course a Northern Irish accent is the best of the bunch :D

Seriously there are a whole slew of english accents which sound totally different to one another.
The one percieved as upper class or post is the recieved pronunciation one.
Compare that to geordie, liverpudlian, birmingham, cockney or essex.
I would say be proud of your own accent and let the education shine through by what you say with it. :gj:
But if you must change it to english make sure you pick the one that doesn't make you sound like a chav. :P
