In my rack, right now, my thermostat is heating only at 10% to keep the temperature at 95, so the inside of my tubs are at 90-92 (depending on the level).
btw : the plants are nice, but does it have enough space to crawl ? a BP prefer to be flat. I suppose the plants are not taking all the bottom surface and it give it some hides so :)
and make sure those clip are enough solid.
I do have a tstat, if that was meant for me. And yeah, there is plenty of space. The two plants on the sides are on top of the two hides, so they don't take up any room. I have eight of those clips on the cover by the way, you just can see them all. You'd have to snap the cover in half to get out.

Re: Tub setup
So I decided to remove the plants on either end, but I'm going to leave the middle one.
I've been checking on the temps and humidity all night, and all of a sudden it said "HI" on he Accurite and there was moisture on the walls. I was prepared to blast more holes in the thing, until I removed the top and noticed the pooper had somehow spilled a bunch of water even though there was none missing from the bowl.
Tomorrow I will get a new bowl, hopefully one that is tip proof.

Maybe he peed? That is how I know when to clean tubs, they are all fogged up :P

Re: Tub setup
I woke up to find she had spilled more water and the humidity was again sky high. I will be getting a new bowl today.

Re: Tub setup
That's a nice setup.
Regarding the plants and BPs supposedly not enjoying climbing - we bought a miniature tree for our BP, and I really thought it was for our aesthetic enjoyment, not the snake's. We couldn't have been more wrong. She loves climbing in the tree, and will often hang out in it. Reminds me of Kaa from the Jungle Book. :D

Re: Tub setup
Wow, it looks lovely with all those plants!
But giftwrap as substrate? Can that be used? I mean, are there any weird inks or acids or whatever used in the manufacturing process that could be harmful? Costco sells rolls of gift wrap almost too heavy to lift. They'd last for ages!
Again, lovely pictures. And I see this week those 41qt tubs are on sale at Target for only $5. Sure beats a tank 10 times more expensive!

Re: Tub setup
I'm pretty sure that the gift wrap is the same material as unprinted newspaper. Perfect size for a tub too, no cutting needed.
And yeah, I just noticed the Target sale today too. Too bad there are a thousand holes in my tub now.
