Re: Which one would be more of a crowd pleaser, Spider or Pastel?
Get both and breed them together :)

I like pastels a lot though, if it would be just one snake though.

I voted spider. I love em. Plus the axanthic versions are beautiful.

Spider. Different pattern than a normal BP.
Most people cannot tell the difference between a pastel morph and a normal except that one is brighter.
If it has a completely different pattern, even the dumbest person can tell it is not a typical BP.

I can not imagine them going much lower.

I've been into Ball Pythons for a while and I just got my first spider for a while and I can't get enough of him. I have him out more than any of my others.

My spider male is also exceptionally inquisitive and "friendly", he's great for demonstration purposes to newbies because I highly doubt he'd ever strike. On the other extreme, my killerbee male tries to eat my face every chance he gets!

At least you have the honor of being bit from such an expensive and awesome morph!

I've heard spiders have a genetic tendency for inquisitive/outgoing personalities. They even say that in McCurley's book, so it must be true!

I have a pastel right now, and he is my pride and joy... but I'm getting a spider soon, so we'll see if my opinions change. ;)
