Not only is it a ghost, but it's a ninja ghost. Great pickup!

Edit: Psyche. But they are nice regardless.

Thanks, I plan on getting rid of it. But I love the cinny I got and that reduced pattern female. She's a baby, but I cant wait til she's ready to breed. Ima do some dinker projects with her. :)

Another reason I'm asking is because first he sold me this one that looks slightly like a hypo ( IMO) and second he sold me another male normal that kinda looks like a yellowbelly ( IMO). And on top of that he sold me a proven breeder cinny male for $150. So, im guessing these other snakes are something good and I dont want to mess up and sell them as normals. ;)

He's not going to sell you a hypo and a YB as normals. It's a beautiful normal, but not even close to being a questionable hypo/ghost.

The belly marked one might be a het pied. I know I sell possible het pied males as normals. But to be sure if you are working on a pied project before risking wasting a year for a valuable het pied female you should buy a 100% het pied male as they are very affordable now days.

The "normal" girl looks the least normal of the bunch to me. Probably nothing but I'd hang on to her and breed her just in case.

I thought that when I saw her pics too.

It may be your pics (you need more light to get better ones), but your possible hypo looks too dark in the dark areas to be a hypo. The name hypo is short for hypomelanism. Hypo means "less than normal" and melanin is the dark brown/black pigment. So to be a hypo, a snake should be faded out in the dark areas, which is where the name ghost came from. Really good hypos go beyond that faded look and can be quite bright. But I do not think a snake can look so black in the dark areas as yours does (again, based on the pic you posted) and be a hypo.

Also, as has been pointed out, hypos usually have a very faded head, and the head on yours does not look faded.

Kevin McCurley described them as looking like someone put them in a freezer and they became covered in frost. One could argue that his normal has a faded head, but it's the overall "frosted" look that can best describe a hypo. I don't see any of that from the picture.

Anyways, I'm breeding her now to my spider. Ima see what happens, I know you guys would think twice tho if you saw her in person. lol. Oh and to the person who said hypo/ghost are the same thing, I've been reading and I heard that a REAL Ghost is an axanthic x hypo (tell me if I'm wrong, but ima look for that article I read). And as for that male normal I got, in his way he looked like a YB, but as I look at het. pied marking pics and I look at his belly they look like it. But I just wanted to double check before I go off and sell some good animals for normal prices. But thanks for the help guys. :gj: I still think she's a ghost/hypo. lol :P lol. JK
