    A year is usually what I do. Males are generally about 600 - 800 grams by then. Sometimes I wait till they are about 18 months, but it depends on the amount of females I want to breed him with. But it has always worked best for me!

    Under 6 months. I have a 380g YB breeding. When they are mature, they are mature. No matter on age, size, or weight. :gj:

    I voted six months. I tried to breed a male that was approximately six months old to one female. To the best of my knowledge, they never copulated. She never produced. The male that I tried to breed was around 500 grams.

    I've had eggs hatch before their fathers turned a year old. If they are producing sperm they are ready!
