    Only speaking of my own experience, but we brought home our young (5-6 months old?) BP last Tuesday and it ate the next day. Was also held that morning, and all seemed fine.

    Since it came to us in its own tank, I thought it was already adjusted to its own home and so didn't think we should still have given it time to settle into the newness of OUR home. Also, it hadn't been fed since 10 days earlier because it had been shedding. Not only did I assume it was hungry, but it warmed up beautifully after we added a UTH to its tank AND the rest of its stuck shed came off (yes, all within 24 hours of our bringing it home), so I figured it was feeling better and ready to eat.

    It did, and once more since then. Congrats on your new BP! :)
