Gentlemen, you would both be correct.:gj: I know what most everyone is wondering...they are out of the egg and are PERFECT in every way.:banana::banana:
I have been over them 7-8 times looking for that thing (I dare not utter its' name) we always need to look for when working with Caramels. The last time I had them out I swear the girl looked at me as if to hiss, "What is your deal, dude?" :snake:
I will post new pics on Saturday. The female is the larger -- lighter of the 2 and is STUNNING.
Below are a couple shots of entire clutch while still in the egg.
5 eggs: 1.1 Caramel Mojaves and 1.2 Mojaves 66% Het.
I hope I did not ruin my odds on this project for the rest of the season with this first clutch.
Bill, congratulations! I can't wait to see them all cleaned up and out of the egg!!!

Yes Tim it is. You never know who is working on something in secret.
The Sutherland's produced 2 Mohave Het males in 07. I picked up my male from him in Anaheim of that year -- all 62 grams of him. ;) He kept the other male. I "believe" his male bred for him in 08, but did not sire a clutch -- I am not 100% sure of that fact.
My male was a tentative breeder last season -- even though he was 700+ grams for much of the season. He sired one normal clutch and produced 2.0 Mojaves 50% Het and 4 50% Het females.
My male is an ANIMAL with the ladies this season -- what a difference a year makes!!!
I assume that Dan is doing some breeding with his guy this season? I am expecting a few more clutches and have 2 clutches cooking as we speak. Time will tell on what comes from those breedings/clutches.
