    Yeah there's no reason to be opening the egg box everyday, that just throws off the temps and humidity.
    I open once every week or two to allow a little air exchange (we're talking just a few seconds). That goes for just about any species's eggs, whether its a chameleon egg, turtle egg, snake egg, etc.

    Using the substrate less method the eggs don't dimple until a couple weeks prior to hatching.

    no i don't seal the tubs. I only put the tops on them.

    I know my tubs are set up correctly with near 100 % humidity. I just always assumed that because the tubs provided that high humidity, it would have any effect to candle them or check them out for a few seconds every day or every other day. It did.
