What do you like about BPnet?

I like the very friendly attitudes and vibe the forum has. Even though you see the same several beginner posts a lot, everyone always is prompt to answer and make that person feel welcome.

I also like that there's so much rooting for everyone else when it comes to their projects.

As an example, every "I have eggs!!!" thread gets soooooo many responses and encouragement from the community that its cool to know that others are excited for you as well.


*edit to add* Good thread Hoax!! If people want to have a pity party about how bad they think this site is then let them. Nice to have a thread to remind us of just how awesome this site really is (despite those who say otherwise)

This site has helped me so much when it comes to being a smart and successful herper. I've learned so much about my hobby here and have had so many people give their time sharing experiences with me.

I have met some wonderful people here; and before this site I never thought of the internet as a place to "meet" people.

Its amazing how varied the demographic is here, yet how united we can become when it matters. Whether it be getting together to fight HR669 or putting a fund together to help Bruce after the fire.

No question will ever get old to me or asked too many times. I will always offer my time to help people as best as I can; just like many others who did it for me when I was starting out.

I like the abundance of information and reference to information for reminders, I like the fact that people in general are unbelievably helpful and share knowledge to fellow people trying to care for, breed their animals.

I feel comfortable planting my roots here and look forward to continuing to learn from those here that have experience, passion and the ability to share this with all of us getting started:)

I love the atmosphere, the members, the way the community is capable of pulling together for one of their own when disaster strikes….

BP.net is the only forum that feels like a second family to me.

I have to say that the overall atmosphere is my favorite thing about BPNET. That is a result of the truly amazing folks who make up our member list. It's impressive how quickly people will respond to a question or a problem. I have always really thought that the staff here did a really impressive job running this site, and it's an honor to now be included in that staff. The friends that I have made here have become very important to me, and I have not met most of them in person.
Oh, and like Wes, I think Heather is cool.

I think it's all been said better that I could put into words... so Ditto for me, on all the above. I feel so blessed to be part of such an amazing community! The friends that I've made, and the knowledge I've gained... (and am still gaining every day) makes this a unmeasurable part of my life. :grouphug:

Well....ever since I have found this site...every reptile publishing company has lost my business. (sucks for them) I have never had to turn to any other site, looked in any books, or call up a breeder for answers I may have.

I also like how this site isn't focused soley on Ball Pythons. We have experts on colubrids, boas, chameleons, geckos, monitors, small mammals, photographys, birds, fish, and the list goes on... :)

I like that this is a community not just a forum! From beginners needing husbandry help to big dogs updating us on there projects! This site caters to the entire ball python community in some way, shape, form or fashion. What can I say about the mods and admins? They do a hell of a job on here and it's its great! :gj: This is a great community and I'm pleased to be a part of it!
