    The lizard was definitely there. The blur inconclusion with the bit of old wood that it blended with makes it near invisible, but its head is really the only noticeable part.

    We have a subspecies of this lizard all the way up here in the Southern two-thirds of PA......Sceloporus undulatus hyacinthinus.

    I've never found and felt one so I'm not sure. I've only seen pictures and illustrations in field guides.
