ok. Heres where I relize how little I no. Cool side warm side? Like one half should be one temp and the other another? Whats the best way to increase humidity?

You need to maintain a air temp of 80-84 throughout the cage. and a spot on one side thats 90-94 for thermo-regulation and digestion.

If you using a screen lid on a tank, best way to keep humidity up is cover 3/4 of the screen with alum foil and tape it down. and mist with water if needed.

Also you need to buy yourself a nice digital thermometer to measure your temps. the stick on ones are garbage period. you can get a nice accurite one from walmart for 11.88 that reads cool side warm side and humidity all in one.

Everyone starts somewhere. You may not know much, but you obviously care enough to find a good place to ask questions, and are taking the advice given to you. That is the sign of a someone who will become a very good snake keeper. :gj:

I don't think anyone else mentioned it, but it is a good thing that your BP mostly stays under his hide. BPs are very shy snakes. Usually if they spend a lot of time roaming around their tank, it is a sign of stress.
