Tanks are not only easier to escape from they are also harder to clean. Tubs on the other hand can be easily lifted and sanitized while a 20 gallon is bulky and heavy making cleaning harder and more of an unpleasant chore

I don't agree with all of this. My 20L setup has locking clips on it, and a padlock. I don't think my bp's getting out anytime soon. And a 20 isn't that heavy. A 40, yes, but a 20 can be lifted with one hand no problem.

Is that her cool hide? It looks a bit too small for her in my opinion, and a little too high.

    It could be too big.

This may help, too. The hides should be identical, so she won't choose between safety and temperature.

It usually takes them a while to "find" their hides and realize that they are not dangerous and that they are safe to live in. give it some time.

all balls have different personalities. i have three adults that were housed in the exact same enclosures with the same set up and temp settings. one was always in her home, one was always chilled out on top of her home and the third was always tucked behind her home in the corner. all were happy and healthy. it appeared that each preferred slightly different temps. ps. they still all used their homes once in a while, usually during shed.

k was just wondering cause i thought ball pythons spend most of there time in the warm side instead of the cool side cause i havent seen her once go into the warm side and just chill out. She is always tucked on top of the coolwhip and the top of the tub
