This isn't really true. the prey items won't just line up in the stomach like tetris blocks, they will overlap and move around. I once had to feed 4 prey items in one sitting (because I ran out of properly sized rodents) and everything went just fine. If that logic were true then there "wouldn't be enough room in the stomach".

    thanks,
i asked because i made the mistake of ordering a bag of 25 frozen pinkies. lol :(
never mind, ya live and learn.

they were really tiny so i gave him four, and he took them all like a champ.

ill try and feed them to him, as it'd be a waste not to, but ill also try and intersperse the pinky meals with hoppers, when i buy some.

    edit:
actually, i say a champ. what i actually mean is "with quite some hilarity". lol he didnt try and constrict at all, i dont blame him theyre only a mouthful. but he ended up laying almost completely on his back trying to get one down his neck. lols. it looked kinda weird. like he was trying to tan his underside or something :P

A hatchling ball python should be trained on a fuzzie or hooper mouse to ofcourse eat and then after that first meal should be going ot an adult mouse. they are more then capable of eating them.
