    Feeding live shouldn't be a problem, they are more than capable of dispatching appropriately sized live prey. If you feel more comfortable feeding pre-killed thats fine too, whatever works best for you and your snake.

    I just got my BP about 1 and a 1/2 months ago. He is the same size as yours right now and I feed him hoppers/smaller adult mice. I started with a pinky, he didn't eat it. Switched to fuzzies and he ate 2 times. After those 2 weeks I stopped by the local shop and the herp lady said to feed him hoppers. They are the size of his thickest part and he takes them fine. I feed live as well and he hasn't had a problem at all.
