The Tri-Colors are a completely seperate genus of snake snake from South America. Charlie's species is Lystrophis Pulcher. They are distantly related to our North American Hognoses but share several things in common including there small size, rear fangs, love for toads, friendly nature, and of course that little hognose. Charlie is more of a Bi-Colored type pattern but they do get alot brighter than this and have a very milk snake look to them. I hope to get a female soon for him. from what I've read they are pretty productive snake that don't need to be cooled down and can have as many as 6 clutches a year.
