    I know this is a silly question but Black eye'd luecy's aren't albino right? Even though the pupil is red? Amazing snake BTW! I love how white it is. :)

    no they arent albino is a lack of melanin

    So is it a homozygous fire then?

    At one time I heard that the black eyed leucistics from Amir's line ("flame hypo" or something like that) didn't have the yellow splotches. I don't know if that has held true. I'm also not sure if crosses have been done with the at least three different lines of black eyed leucistic producers (fire, flame hypo, and sulfur).

    Correct Randy, it came from a UK breeder who produced some very clean white BkEL's.
    I have a real thing for Fire crosses, and this little guy is going to be busy next season.
