All the hides you could ever need are at Walmart and the Dollar Store / Dollar Tree. I just can't justify spending 6 bucks on a hide when I can get these colored round tubs at the dollar store. They come in a ton of different colors, and can be cut to the right height.
For smaller snakes I've tried a couple different things. I have a water bowl that can double as a hide for snakes up to around 200g. Those plastic containers of baby wipes that are long cylinders can be cut in half for two hides for the 200g-600g range.
There is just so many options.
