I was assuming that since that possibility wasn't mentioned, that it wasn't. Not always safe to assume though.
It could also be retained sperm, I suppose.

If this is true, I'd definitely like to know about it! It certainly goes against everything I thought I knew about how to produce ivories and BELs.
If you are referring to the sentence where he says "Then I thought, well I guess the female is a yb and lesser x yb does in fact make white snakes", you have interpreted it differently than I did. I thought he meant his thought at the time was that this clutch was proving that lesser x yb can make a white snake, rather than that it had been proven in the past.

Ben please don't take offence at my comment I was simply saying that there are allot of possiable reasons for that out come..Its intresting to see why a YB to lesser would make an Ivory.. I wonder if a Lesser to spector would make a Super stripe..
Re: Check out this interesting clutch!
Well, this issue just adds to the ever-expanding possibilities of a yellow belly when mixed w/ other traits. :)

I actually had thought that yellowbelly x lesser will NOT make a white snake, but then again--how many clutches of yellowbelly x lesser has anyone heard of?--Enough to actually say definately not a possibility? I have only heard of one other confirmed yb x lesser clutch and no it did not produce the white.
Oh okay, I misunderstood you then. But in my opinion I think you got a Yellow Belly Lesser Ben!

no prob---I am actually leaning towards thinking the male lesser is a lesser yellowbelly. It fits perfectly and he is quite pretty for a lesser.
Re: Check out this interesting clutch!
I'll be really interested to see the results of the sire's other clutches. Exciting for you if you have a lesser yb, but even more exciting if it appears the sire does not have yb in him. What sort of possibilities does that open up?
Re: Check out this interesting clutch!
