Need help with a tub!

All of the UTH's that I have come across say not to mount to plastic and only to glass so do you just disregard that when building your tub or am I not seeing the right UTH's ???

as long as it is controlled by a thermostat it will be fine. I have used a uth with a tub with no problems.
