:D All your girls are now eating! I'm confident that Wednesday will probably be willing to take f/t next week... or worst case, live again. She definitely needs some practice! I could tell she was interested in the f/t I've been offering, but was too scared of me/it to strike.

One of the girls went opaque last week... she did eat anyway but I expect a nice shed any day now.

    Right on. :)

Most of the girls you have are from Genesis Pythons (Daniel Wakefield) another stand up guy. So I know they were all hitting well on FT before they came.

Geez, I kinda stuck you with the tough ones Zoe... all five from Daniel I had less than two weeks as well.

Good to hear they are all eating and even getting ready to shed. Lord love the new snake smell! :D

Funny that Wednesday ate her first meal on a Wednesday. ;) That gave me a bit of confusion in reading the post. I thought there was some grammar mistake or something in there, but then I realized my tired brain just wasn't getting it, heh.

No worries about the pics, Bruce. Happy to oblige. :D

I think it will be extremely satisfying to see those four eggs hatch out. Can't wait! (Maybe they'll hatch on a night I'm at Norm's? That would be too perfect!)

I am so sorry for the loss of your clutch. I am glad that things are starting to come together for you. You have been in my prayers and I will continue to keep praying for you.

    I can't believe Bruce didn't update this! :O

SO... Remeber that clutch of 6 eggs that "was lost"? ;)

Well, out of the 6 eggs, 3 hatched out happy and healthy! The eggs were apparently hard and brittle and the babies needed some help coming out. But Norm, who is looking after several of Bruce's snakes and incubating his other clutch, assisted and these little ones popped out.

I call these THE MIRACLE BABIES. These eggs survived time out of the incubator, a drive from Montreal to Ottawa in one car, transport into a house and then out (where they were help temporarily until pick up) and then a final trip to the place where they hatched.

This is the order in which I believe they hatched...

Baby #1... Bruce, I know you want to call this one Phoenix (for obvious reasons), but as of right now I'm calling it Skinny. It's a small baby but as Norm said there's no reason why it won't do well just like the other two. It just makes it that much more special!

Baby #2... Would NOT hold still for a picture!

Baby #3... This one is my favourite of the three I think. I love the dots and the black on it. Very cool. So it gets two pics. :p

Again.. Still amazed but so happy for you Bruce! :gj:
