I can't directly see what is wrong with his questions. His replies are often rude, but many people ask the same questions. Yes he comes into this as an 'expert' but what is wrong with his question specifically?
People, you are seriously over-reacting and looking just as stupid as the OP.

You guys do realize Co-Doms are Heterozygous animals too...The term Het does not just apply to recessive genes.

that's definitely a way to think about it, (ie lesser is "het BEL", etc) but in the context of the OPs statement it still dosent make sense.
If he was saying he had a super pewter, he'd end up with 100% pewters, but i dont think thats where this question was going.

Yes, but co-doms tend to be visual while hets look normal until proven otherwise, right? Nobody says a pastel is Het for Super Pastel.

Actually, codoms are visual hets for their super forms. For example, Yellowbelly aka Het Ivory (often referred to as this).

Except for Het Red's.. they are a co-dom visual mutation that the Het form is labeled as such. So there are a few mutations that the genetics can get confusing so I understand the new keeper getting the Het thing mixed up from time to time. :D
Also there are many different mutations that the Homozygous from has a different name than the Het form..I.E Lesser, Spotnose, Woma. These Het forms look nothing like the super form. They are only named different becuse many were marketed prior to the super being proven so you don't get the name Het Pearl, Or het Power Ball. You do how ever see Het Russo or "Russo" Het Lucy, again a codom mutation that carries the Het prefix.
Just something to bare in mind when people get the whole Het thing mixed up.

Thats what I just said..."co-doms are visual"
Sure they're het, but it's not labeled that way because you can tell they're het by the way they look.

That makes sense. But it can still be said that for the most part, co-doms are not labeled het because you can see what they are. In the case of a recessive, the Het part is necessary because you couldn't tell otherwise. (A lav albino's glow and het pied markers don't count, those still go either way)

but this doesnt apply to a "100% pewter." Sure if you are going for super forms i agree, but a pewter is a combo morph. its not from two of the same morph, its from two different morphs.
Saying a snake is "100% pewter" is like saying a pastel is het for super pastel, bee, lemon blast, ect.

Nope. I sure wasn't trying to agree with anything being 100% pewter.
