What size should I feed my New BP's?

Ok no she pretty much said one mouse every 7 days. I thought it to be a little odd due to their size. Don't get me wrong I've never owned ball pythons before and everything I know comes from researching before hand. Its just a little hard to research what to feed them due to to many variables. So would you suggest feeding the smaller one a weaned rat and the larger one a small rat? I appologize for keep on asking, understanding size requirements for snake food is a little confusing.
